2. Sleeping Too Little Or Too Much

Now, this has been proven through research that sleeping too little or too much can make you put on more belly fat. According to a study people who sleep for 5 hours or less put on 2.5 times more belly fat. Not just this, it was also found that people who slept for more than 8 hours also gained somewhat closer belly fat. 3. Do Not Love Thy Soda

When researchers in San Antonio tracked a group of elderly subjects for nearly a decade, they found that compared to nondrinkers, those who drank two or more diet sodas a day watched their waistlines increase five times faster. The researchers theorize that the artificial sweeteners trigger appetite cues, causing you to unconsciously eat more at subsequent meals.

4. Ordering The Combo Meal

Though it can be good for you pocket, it is really high in caloric content. This is because when you order items bundles together, you are likely to buy more food than you want. Thus, you are better off ordering your food piecemeal.

5. Choosing White Bread

This is yet another common mistake that a lot of people do. Just by replacing white bread with a whole grain bread you can lose a lot of abdominal fat within a few weeks. Whole grain foods pack in more fiber and an overall stronger nutritional package than their refined-grain counterparts.
