Rule of the thumb is to stay away from foods that are rich in fats, carbs and simple sugars. Not just this, it is also important to eat less and one of the best ways to reduce your calorie intake is to have smaller and frequent meals during the day.

5-6 meals a day can be a great way to keep you feeling fuller so that you eat less. Snacking in between meals is a great idea. However, keep it mind to snack on foods that are not just filling but also help boost your metabolism to ensure faster fat burning.

2. Low Fat Yogurt- This is yet another great snack. However, you need to look for one that is low fat. There are a lot of varieties that have been enriched with healthy bacteria. Such a yogurt is great at preventing bloating and can help you get a flatter stomach.
